Registration for the Stelvio Santini Granfondo, which celebrates 10 years in 2022, is officially open! A lot of news, including a new climb for the Mortirolo.

Two types of registration, two different race packages. All the participants can choose between the basic registration that includes the race bib and the official jersey at the price of 90 euros and the package consists of the race bib, official jersey and shorts combined with jersey at a cost of 120 euros, of course all declined for men and women.

A novelty for the long route. For the 2022 edition there will be a special change of route to celebrate the tenth edition. The organizing committee has introduced an important variant to the long route, which will provide an unprecedented route to the conquest of the Mortirolo Pass.

«For the tenth edition we wanted to introduce a change to the long route to show the new and unknown climb to the Mortirolo Pass that provides for the start from the town of Sernio- omments Mario Zangrando, President of the Cycling Sector of the Bormiese Sports Union – a fascinating ascent because we can ideally divide it into two parts: the first approach, with hard slopes but not impossible, and a second part that will reward our participants with an extraordinary view ».

Even the medium route will have a small change with the introduction of the Sernio: after the food stop moved from Tovo to Sernio will resume its historical path towards Bormio and the Stelvio. The short 60-kilometre route remains unchanged, where almost 2,000 metres of altitude difference is encountered. All three tracks will have in common the start from Bormio and the finish line at 2,758 meters of the Stelvio Pass.

See you in Bormio!
